Site work for a water / sewer project in East Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
All bidders are hereby advised that they must be able submit an Illinois Department of Transportation Pre-qualification Statement or Illinois Capital Development Board Prequalification Statement for this Project prior to opening of Bids. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier check made payable to the City of East Peoria, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Commencement of the work on the project may begin as early as December 4th, 2019. The project shall be substantially completed on or before April 17th, 2020. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1, et seq.). Checks for the contract documents shall be made payable to: Midwest Engineering Associates, Inc.
