As of September 13, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project involves all labor, materials, equipment, tools and services necessary to install a new passenger elevator within the existing Union County Courthouse. The project to be constructed and pursuant to this Contract will be financed with assistance from the Kentucky Community Development Block Grant Program and is subject to all applicable Federal laws and regulations. A Bid bond or certified check for a value of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid amount, including all alternatives bids items and other items as noted. The guarantee shall be made out to: Union County Fiscal Court, Kentucky. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, address, and the name of the project for which the bid is submitted. Only the original Form of Proposal is required, no additional copies are required. If a bidder wishes to mail a bid, it should be mailed to Union County Fiscal Court, 100 West Main Street, Morganfield, Kentucky, 42437 to the attention of Judge/Executive Adam O'Nan. If bid is mailed, it must be received prior to the bid time and date noted. Facsimile bids will NOT be allowed. Bids received after the deadline will not be opened. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
