**As of December 13th, 2019 the bids opening date changed per addendum #2.** Governors Office of Storm Recovery at North Tower Fire House Emergency Generators, Interior Renovation, and Associated Asbestos Abatement Estimated Construction Cost Range: $1,300,000 - $1,550,000 The base scope of work for this project includes, but not limited to the following items: renovation to the first floor meeting room, including a new ADA accessible ramp and toilets; replacement of the roof over the 2nd floor meeting roof; replacement of the north tower soffits; renovation of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floor tower rooms include all new finishes; replacement of the north tower stair treads, risers, hand and guard rails, HVAC upgrades at the EPOC areas, a new fire alarm and smoke detection system throughout the entire building; electrical upgrades including new service, switchgear and main distribution wiring; new LED lighting in rooms being renovated; a new 50 kw diesel powered standby generator and concrete support pad; new plumbing fixtures and piping serving the new equipment and bathrooms. Asbestos abatement shall be performed at floors, sink coating, wall plaster, hard wall barriers, roofing and flashing material, and door insulation as indicated on the drawings. Other hazardous materials, such as lead based paint, universal and hazardous waste, and non-hazardous contaminated fill must be removed and disposed of properly and in accordance with requirements listed in the specifications.
