Greater Roanoke Transit Company (GRTC) d/b/a Valley Metro is seeking competitive bids to construct a new transfer facility. Prospective bidders may submit questions to GRTC until July 2, 2021, by 2:00 p.m Each bid of $100,000 or more must be accompanied by a Bid Security in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the maximum possible bid price in accordance with Sections 2.2-4336 and 2.2-4338 of the Code of Virginia A Performance Security and a Labor and Material Payment Security each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount for all contracts in excess of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) in accordance with Sections 2.2-4337 and 2.2-4338 of the Code of Virginia Unless otherwise stated or a specific time period is set forth on the Bid Form, each bidder shall indicate in the appropriate blank the number of consecutive calendar days required by such bidder to substantially complete the specified Work, with Final Acceptance to be achieved within thirty (30) consecutive calendar days thereafter.
