Completed plans call for the addition of a 334,695-square-foot, 11-story above grade, one-story below grade, 246-bed, 170-space medical facility; for the renovation of a 91,600-square-foot medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and medical facility.

Addition and renovations the the Hospital complex. The scope of the project includes the construction of an additional 12-storey (one below grade) wing D, construction of a 3-storey addition to Block C and one-storey addition to Block A, construction of a walkway connection between the wind D and Block A and major alterations to the existing complex areas. The added areas will house a medical and surgical care unit, an obstetric, a neonatology and a pediatric care units, a psychiatric care unit, an operating room, respiratory therapy and pneumology, endoscopy and medical electrophysiology departments. The project realization will allow to house 246 additional beds. Note. According to the official estimation the total value of the expansion program including required equipment and related construction and development work amounts to almost $550M. TIMELINE: Construction has just started. The owner is implementing the project by construction packages.
