Includes bailing of the well, well casing rehabilitation, installation of new well pump, motor, and column piping with appurtenances. This Contract shall include the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, supplies and services for the installation of a casing pipe swage patch, bailing the well, replacement of the motor, bowl assembly, column piping, and power cable, televise well, reinstall the well pump and disinfect, and test pump thewell. This work must be performed by a licensed well driller. Well #8 was drilled in 1960 by the Wehling Well Works Company. The well has 30-inch casing that was driven to 25-feet. 29-inch hole was drilled to 154-feet and reduced to 24-inch hole from 154-feet to 214-feet. Twenty-inch casing was installed from the surface to 211-feet and cemented in place. 19-inch hole was drilled from 214-feet to 778-feet, and a 16-inch liner installed from 327-feet to 778-feet. A fifteen inch hole extends from the bottom of the liner at 778-feet to the bottom of the well at 935-feet. The well log and well profile drawings are included at the end of the Project Booklet.The existing well pump is a four (4) stage Byron Jackson submersible pump with 231 feet of 10" diameter column pipe and a 250 Hp pump motor. The existing submersible pump is designed for 1,800 gallons per minute at 362.0 total dynamic head at 1750 RPM.
