Site work, renovation and addition to a medical facility in Laval, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.
Phased expansion, upgrades, repairs and modernization of the Hospital complex for creation of a Family Centre. The scope of this first project phase includes creation of: a Family Centre: - Labour/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (TARP) perinatal care rooms (44 rooms); - Obstetrics operating sector (2 rooms); - Neonatal care unit (20 cradles); - Pediatric unit (12 beds); - Pediatric day care (8 stretchers); - Pediatric and child psychiatry outpatient services; a New Mental Health department - six-bed brief intervention unit (BIU) and Expansion of the Medicine and Surgery department providing to the addition of 108 beds (three units of 36 beds). TIMELINE: The project is preliminary and is included in the Quebec Infrastructure Plan (QIP) 2025-2035 as a project "under study". The owner is finalizing the project scope and expects to proceed to design of the project in 2026. According to the owner's preliminary scheduling construction will begin in 2027 and will be completed in 2030. Notes. - Preparation of the project opportunity file, real estate analysis of the existing complex, geo-technical and feasibility studies have been completed.
