Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Burien, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

As of August 12, 2021 The City of Burien seeks a contractor to provide all management, coordination, labor, materials, equipment and permitting, necessary to complete the project described in this bid package for the modifications and construction of a new single use ADA restroom at the Burien Community Center. The work shall include but is not limited to selective demolition, modifications of existing restroom(s), building systems, including upgrades to two existing restrooms, adjoining hallway, roofing, utilities, life safety, finishes and necessary equipment and utilities, as detailed in bid package. This is a prevailing wage project per RCW 39.12 and the Davis Bacon Act per 40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq. The City of Burien is a Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Community. The Burien Community Center Restroom Modifications is funded by the City of Burien and in part through the King County Consortium Community Development Block Grant Program with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The contract will besubject to regulations of the Department of Labor and Housing and Urban Development.Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wage as set forth in the contract documents. All bidders must certify that they are not on the Controller General's list of ineligiblecontractors or the list of parties excluded from Federal procurement or non-procurementprograms. The City of Burien following Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 USC 2000d to2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A,Office of the Secretary, Part 21, Nondiscrimination in Federally-Assisted Programs of theDepartment of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that itwill affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement,disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded fullopportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated againston the grounds of color, gender, national origin, or race in consideration for an award.
