Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Conroe, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,030-square-foot fire / police facility.
Approval of this project's GMP with the City of Conroe has been delayed as the Design Team has encountered an issue with Texas Department of Transportation approvals and those approvals effects on City of Conroe Building Permitting. It appears it won't be until mid-August that these issues will be resolved. We plan to notify all bidders if any document changes occur at that time, and will also request revised pricing based on current market equipment and material rates. The project shall consist of a new one-story approximately 11,030 s.f. urban area fire station with traditional operational and support spaces common to similar sized modern facilities. It shall be located at FM 3083 and Presswood Drive constructed in Conroe, Texas. The property consists of 2.183 acres and is zoned Restricted Commercial. *Project information, including timeline and contacts, has been obtained through public sources.
