The State University of New York, State University Plaza, located at 353 Broadway, Albany, NY 12246, invites sealed bids for project #360126 - Crawlspace Piping Replacement Building #5 - in the crawlspace level of the SUNY System Administration Building. This project involves the removal of all cast iron sanitary, storm and condensate piping located in the approximately two hundred and eighty foot long north crawlspace and one hundred and eighty foot long south crawlspace. Additionally, there will be selective piping removals in the two thousand six hundred square foot north MER and selective piping removals in the four thousand four hundred square foot south MER. The existing cast iron piping removals will be replaced with new Polyvinylchloride piping and fittings. This building is currently fully occupied and will be fully occupied throughout the duration of the piping replacement project. The north and south crawlspaces have dirt floors and because existing and new piping systems will be operating concurrently, areas of new pipe installation shall be considered congested and difficult locations should be anticipated. The University reserves the right to award no contract.
