Renovation of a water / sewer project in Pulaski, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project consists of the demolition of abandoned piping, demolition of existing underdrain, installation of new underdrain and air scour piping, removal and replacement of media, removal and reinstallation of existing troughs, new agitator, drop pipe and support as needed, new influent valves, couplings and support plate, new pressure gauges and other appurtenances The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reject a bid which is not accompanied by data required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, or which is in any way incomplete or irregular. If the lowest BIDDER exceeds available funds, the OWNER reserves the right to re-bid or negotiate with the apparent low bidder pursuant to Section 2.2-4318 of the Virginia Code. The conditions and procedures under which such negotiation may be undertaken are that the appropriate Owner officials shall determine that the lowest responsive and responsible bid exceeds available funds and notify such bidder in writing of their desire to negotiate. Bidders must certify that they do not or will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on the basis of race, color, creed, or national origin.
