Site work and renovation of a civil project in New Boston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project basically consists of the following: Construction of a HDPE lined four (4) acre earthen equalization basin on a ten (10) acre site including influent piping, a return flow lift station with force main and electrical equipment and wiring to be located at the wastewater treatment plant. Also included is the installation of two (2) self-priming pumps, 6,850 LF of 12" diameter PVC force main, pump building modifications and electrical equipment and wiring at the Sunset Lift Station. A Bidder Bond, Certified or Cashier Check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the City of New Boston, Texas. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as well as proof of statutory worker's compensation insurance. The City of New Boston reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of New Boston for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
