Sealed bids for the named Contract, which comprises of upgrades to the existing Oakland Drive West Sanitary Sewer Pump Station Requirements for providing a four-inch skid mounted back up pump. The pump shall be delivered to the owner within 12 weeks of contract commencement or as stated in the notice to proceed. The work is located directly adjacent to Oakland Drive in the Township of Readington, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The intent of this project is to upgrade the existing wastewater pump station as follows: Replace an existing trash screen in wet well with a sewage grinder. Remove existing wet well ladders. Install new Bioxide Tank System. Remove existing pump guide rails (4) and replace with four new 2" diameter Schedule 40 stainless steel guide rails. Install new back-up pumping system. Clean and prepare all existing wet well concrete surfaces (sand-blast),and apply epoxy coating. Complete all electrical installations, controls and connections. Install new concrete slab foundations as shown on plans and detailed in specs. Install electrical equipment shelter. Miscellaneous site work and repair work as further detailed herein. The Contract Documents may be examined and obtained at the Township Administrators Office, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday Friday. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bids must be submitted in triplicate, two hard copies on the proposal forms contained in the bid package and one copy scanned as a PDF file submitted on CD. Bids must be in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project. This information must be on the outside of the envelope and addressed to the Administrator. If the bid is sent by overnight mail, the above designation SHALL also appear on the outside of the courier envelope. The above designation shall also be written on the CD. Any proposal received not complying with these requirements SHALL not be opened and returned to sender marked "Unresponsive". Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to 100%
