The City of Oakland (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified architectural and engineering service providers for the master plan, design and construction (pending funding) for the expansion and renovation of the Brookdale Park Recreation Center (BPRC). The architect-led consultant team shall include, but is not limited to: structural engineer, civil engineer, MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) engineers, surveyor, landscape architect, cost estimator, commissioning agent, geotechnical engineer, Bay Friendly rater and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) professional to achieve the Citys goals and design intent. The lead consultant must have proven expertise in developing master plans, community outreach and design of recreation facilities. The City will award the project to firms based on best qualified experience and resource availability. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
