The Université de Montréal is calling for public tenders in order to retain the services of a general contractor for construction work to be carried out at the Roger-Gaudry Pavilion located at its Campus de la Montagne.
Summary of the project and the work to be carried out The project consists of office construction work for the reallocation of existing services on the campus (General Secretariat and Archives) The works include, in a non-exhaustive manner: General Secretariat : - demolition of existing spaces according to tender documents - supply and installation of new ventilation, heating, plumbing, electrical, network equipment - the manufacture and installation of signaling elements; - coordination of work carried out by third parties and their access to the site: the Teknion company for the supply and installation of removable glass partitions and for the installation of open area partitions, IT at the University of Montreal for work relating to information and communications technologies (IT, audiovisual, multimedia).
Work schedule The Contractor undertakes to take all necessary measures to comply with the schedule for starting the work as quickly as possible allowing the issuance of the Provisional Acceptance Certificate no later than 2020-11-15 and the Certification of final acceptance no later than 2020-11-30. More specifically, the schedule is detailed as follows:
Applicable penalties for delay: $ 500.00 per working day
Performance bond,materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
