Improvement of security measures, urban redevelopment of the grounds, securing the perimeter and landscaping work. Redevelopment of the interior courtyard and expansion of the interior courtyard of the Parliament Building. The addition of two levels: the lower level brings together spaces for services and building mechanical room, and the upper level brings together spaces dedicated to parliamentary activities and the Parliament Cafe. Construction of Phase 1 (Building D) is expected to start in March, 2024, and will last till late 2025. Construction of Phase 2 (Building E) is expected to start in late 2025 and will last till mid-2027.
