Renovation of a stadium in Stamford, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
FY 21-22, Funding request of $680,000 is for the construction and partial design cost of a new flat roof system. 50% to 60% design has been done. Anticipated surplus of $171,000 from existing bonded funds will be added to the requested $680,000 request to fund the new roof completely. FY 22-23, Funding request is $0, FY 23-24, Funding request is $0. FY 24-25, Funding request is $100,000 for the design and construction of a new Low E ceiling. FY 25-26, Funding request is $300,000 for the design and replacement of an evaporative cooling tower, supporting structure and related equipment. FY 26-27, Funding request is $0. FY 27-28, Funding request is $1,500,000 for the rink floor replacement. As September 24, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2029 CIP. Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction FY 2023 - 2024. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023 - 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
