Renovation of a mixed-use development in Oxford, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; educational facility; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
As of February 9, 2021, an awarded design is identified, but the project has been on hold since last March. There are currently no active plans to have the project restarted at this time. *The original solicitation is listed below for reference. --- Miami University is soliciting qualificationsfor professional engineering services. Miami University has developed a Utility Master Plan that has,at its core,the migration from Steam/Condensate infrastructure to a Heating Hot Water system. The central area of campus is the next portion of campus to be converted in the Utility Master Plan. Along with piping distribution changes, a new Hot Water Plant mustbe configured to be located in the basement of Upham Hall. Modifications for the buildings in the central campus area include adding Campus Steamto Utility HW heat exchangers(Upham Plant Only), Utility HW to BuildingHHW/DHW heat exchangers, Primary/Secondary piping and pumping, and adding small steam boilers in select buildings that need to maintain steam service. There are 14buildings that areplanned to be converted off of campus steam under this project. These are: Williams Hall, Bonham House, Warfield, MacMillan Hall, Kreger Hall, Irvin Hall, Alumni Hall, Bishop Hall, McGuffey Hall, Hall Auditorium, King Library, Harrison Hall, Ogden Hall, and Upham Hall. Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to Betsy Davidsonat davidsea@miamioh.eduwith the project number included in the subject line (no phone calls please). Questions will be answered and posted to the Miami University Facilities Contracting Office electronically. Verification of programming will be required for overall plan and a detailed programming on how each building will be modified upon award of the Agreement, commence by developing the Program of Requirements. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: Program Verification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support, Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types. Firms are requested to identify professional registrations, memberships and credentials including: LEEDGA, LEEDAP, LEEDAP+, CCCA, CCM, CCS, CDT, CPE, DBIA,and any other appropriate design and construction industry credentials. Identify that information on the resume page for individual in Block 22, Section E of the F110-330 form. Electronic submittals should be combined into onePDF file named with the project number listed on the RFQ and your firm's name. Use the "print" feature of Adobe Acrobat or similar software for creating a PDF rather than using a scanner. If possible, please reduce the file size of the PDF. In Acrobat, go to Advanced, then PDF Optimizer. Also, please label the CDor DVDand the sleevewith the project number and firm nameif applicable. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
