Sewer Manholes & Pipe Rehabilitation Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools and other services necessary for providing the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes and pipes, televising and cleaning of pipes, and abandonment of manholes and pipes as specified. Contractor shall perform this Work at multiple Milwaukee County locations including the County Grounds, Zoo, Parks, Airport, and House of Corrections. All Work shall be in accordance with Contract Drawings and Specifications. Contract 1: Clean & CCTV Sewer Lines Contract 2: Sewer Manholes & Pipe Rehabilitation Project Completion: Work of the project shall be Substantially Complete within 120 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. Project Funded: Local Bidder's attention is called to the "Notice of Requirements for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity" (Executive Order 11246), contained in the Bid Documents, which set forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employ- ment of women and minorities in the project area. Prime Contractors Shall Be Qualified Prior to Submit- Ting a Bid in Accordance With Chapter 43 of Milwaukee County Ordinance. Bidders shall submit the completed Subcontractor-Supplier Information Entry with the Bid. Failure to submit this information with Bid may result in rejection of the Bid as non-responsive. A 10 percent bid bond or certified check is required with bid. The low responsive, responsible bidder will be recommended for contract award. Owner reserves right to reject bid, to waive informalities in bid or to accept bid which will be in best interest of Owner. Base Bid shall remain open to acceptance for a period of 60 days after bid due date Targeted Business Enterprise (TBE) participation goal for Contract 2 is 25%. Contract 1 will not require (TBE) participation. Meeting TBE project participation goals may be achieved utilizing any combination of TBE firms, whether DBE, SBE, MBE, or WBE. There are no percentage goals assigned directly to any of the types of firms. This allows for increased participation by providing opportunities for multiple certifications to be included in the project. TBE Prime's will receive credit towards the goal for work they self-perform.
