The work generally consists of roof replacements and masonry repairs to fire stations No. 2 and No. 4, New Britain, CT. Project Locations-FIRE STATION NO. 2, 146 SOUTH MAIN STREET, NEW BRITAIN, CT 06051 FIRE STATION NO. 4, 1085 CORBIN AVENUE, NEW BRITAIN, CT 06052 The City reserves the right to split the final Bid submission into separate Bids for Fire Station No. 2 and for Fire Station No. 4, and to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of a bid presented, or to invite proposals as its interest may appear. The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, sex, religions, color or national origin. The Contractor must adhere to all relevant provisions of Section 46a-95 of the Connecticut General Statutes, and any other relevant laws and regulations regarding Affirmative Action. All questions and requests for Interpretation (RFI's) regarding this bid must be made in writing and e-mailed to Jack Pieper, Purchasing Agent, City of New Britain, at JPieper@newbritainct.gov no later than December 2, 2019. RFI due date will be noon, December 16,2019
