The scope of work for this project consists of the Rehabilitation of Taxiways F and G, which includes paving, lighting, markings and signage. It will also contain the demolition of approximately 400 feet of Taxiway F, situated diagonally between Runway 13-31 and its parallel Taxiway K and, as a result, the construction of a new Taxiway K1. Taxiway K1 will be approximately 300 feet long, between Runway 13-31 and its parallel Taxiway K. Construction work will include mill and overlay for the taxiway pavement and improvements for taxiway markings, lighting and signage. Updates to the Airport Lighting Control and Monitoring System and electrical vault are also included. The time of completion for this Work is anticipated to be 135 calendar days to achieve Substantial Completion; exact time requirements are defined in the Instructions to Bidders. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the sum of the Total Bid Price will be required for this Project. Exact Bid Guarantee period requirements are defined in the Instructions to Bidders.
