Site work and paving for a civil project in Pembroke, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
In general, the work for this project involves the infrastructure for 15 residential housing sites with sanitary sewer, water, stormwater infrastructure systems, and paved street at the Union Chapel Site. Bids will be opened in public following the close of bidding and read in the presence of those interested in the Tribal Chambers Room at The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina's main office in Pembroke, North Carolina. Each Bid will be accompanied with a deposit of cash, cashier's check, or a certified check on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to and not less than five percent of the Bid, said check to be made payable to Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. In lieu of the above cash, cashier's check or certified check, the Bidder may execute a bid bond executed by corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds for the same amount and in the form hereinafter provided, attaching Bonding Company's Agent of Power of Attorney to the page provided thereof. After Bids are opened, they will be evaluated in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Bidding Documents. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 60 days after the opening. As required by 24 CFR 1000.52, The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina will give preference to qualified tribal and/or Indianowned economic enterprise or organizations. Indian Preference is defined in 24 CFR 1000.52. Any questions regarding Indian Preference should be directed to Mr. Dave McGirt of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina at 910-521-7861. The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive informalities.
