Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Rochester, New York. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work on the Pont de Rennes Bridge consists of structural repairs. In addition to the structural repairs, a more dynamic public space will be created on the bridge deck with creative lighting, public art, plantings and trail connections. The scope of work on Browns Race consists of the replacement of the stone block pavers, drainage rehabilitation, sidewalk replacement, replacement of street lighting, landscaping amenities and new signage. The project includes New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) funding. The NYSDOT Minority, Women and Service-Disabled Veteran owned sub-contracting goals apply to the contract. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 8% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Contract term: 460 days County(ies): All NYS counties Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None 5.3% M and 6.9% W workforce goals incorporated in this contract *project was over budget*
