The project consists of removing the lead-based paint across the facade of the building, including all wood surfaces, stucco surfaces and concrete surfaces. The project includes the removal of the lead-based paint from all the windows and trims. Additionally, the project will include the removal of all the lead-based painted wood siding from the sides and rear of building and proper disposal of the material in accordance with the law. Bids, amendments to bids, or requests for withdrawal of bids, received after the time specified for bid opening shall not be considered for any cause whatsoever, except as required by law. Bids shall be firm for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids and no bid shall be withdrawn for any reason during this period of time except as allowed per LSA-R.S.38:2214.C.
