Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Leesburg, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of January 23, 2020, the project has not yet been awarded.** This project involves the construction of two (2) five-foot wide concrete sidewalk sections along the east side of CR 473 to provide students a safe route to Treadway Elementary School. The total project length is 7,510 feet, approximately 1.42 miles. All concrete sidewalk shall be 4" thick except for driveway and other turnout locations, those locations should have 6" thick concrete sidewalk. Furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following project:CR 473 Sidewalk (Fountain Lake Blvd. to Haines Creek Road); FPN #439493-1-58; Project No. 2020-01; Bid No. 20-0502 The first section is from the south side of the entrance of Fountain Lake Boulevard and ties into an existing sidewalk approximately 600 feet south of Camp Street. The length of the first section is approximately0.65 miles. The second section is from south side of Camp Street to north side of South Haines Creek Road. The length of the second section is approximately 0.66 miles. Invitation to BidSealed bids will be received by the Office of Procurement Services, on behalf of the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, until 3:00 p.m. on December 30, 2019,for the furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following project:CR 473 Sidewalk (Fountain Lake Blvd. to Haines Creek Road); FPN #439493-1-58; Project No. 2020-01; Bid No. 20-0502.This project involves the construction of two five-foot wide concrete sidewalk sections along the east side of CR 473 to provide students a safe route to Treadway Elementary School. The improvements will include: mobilization, maintenance of traffic, sediment barrier, clearing and grubbing and other site preparation, concrete gravity walls, drainage improvements (ditch bottom inlets, pipe culverts, mitered end sections, regrading ditches), pedestrian/bicycle railing, concrete sidewalk (2500 psi with fiber reinforcement), detectable warning surfaces (meeting both FDOT and Lake County standards), sodding, signing and pavement markings, concrete removal, asphalt for turnout reconstruction, and concrete for driveway reconstruction. All constructed pedestrian facilities shall be ADA compliant. Utility adjustments, right of way acquisition, and environmental resource permits from SJWMD and USACE are not anticipated. This project is funded through a Local Agency Program (LAP) Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation. Bids may be withdrawn prior to the date of opening, but no bids may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of opening of bids. The bidder shall place on the outside of the proposal envelope the name of the firm submitting the proposal. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of Lake County, Florida.All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee acceptable to the County Attorney, which shall be one of the following; bid bondor letter of credit, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid and made payable to Lake County. Said bid bond or letter of credit shall be a guarantee that should the bid be accepted, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after written notice of the award of the contract, enter into a contract with Lake County for the services proposed to be performed and will at that time furnish an acceptable contract surety. Cash, company or personal checks will not be accepted
