As of February 25, 2020, project has been awarded. Construction will finish by July 9, 2021. The Engineer’s estimate range for this project is $9,000,000 - $18,000,000. Document 00 43 70 Subcontractor Work Listing, shall be submitted with the bid or within one (I) hour after the published bid submittal time of 2:00 p.m. Document 00 89 00b - Women and Minority Business Enterprise Commitment Plan Form, shall be submitted with the bid or within one (1) hour after the published bid submittal time of 2:00 p.m Electronic copies of the Bid Documents for this solicitation can be accessed and printed through the Port's Vendor Connect System electronically shown below. Copies of documents are not available for purchase from the Port of Seattle, but may be examined at the above named office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The Port of Seattle is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Advertisement, for Bids. Mailing Address: Port of Seattle Bid Desk 17900 International Blvd., Suite 400 B Sea-Tac, WA 98.188 Bid Desk Telephone: (206) 787-3110 THIS IS A PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT (PLA) PROJECT The Work includes This project will install Safedock Advanced (laser) Visual Docking Guidance Systems (AVDGS) units with camera and. scanning functionality at passenger aircraft gates at; South Satellite, and on B, C, and D concourses. a. Units will be installed on. buildings, jet bridges and/or post depending on location, b. Decommission and remove existing outdated. Safedock and Ramp Information Display units. c. Provide and terminate power and network connectivity to the A-VDGS units, existing microdistribution cabinets, and electrical rooms. Support the testing and commissioning of all systems of the A-VDGS The Engineer's estimate range for this project is $9,000,000 - $18,000,000. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Port of Seattle. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. An Airport Security Bond will he required with the Contract. Security Requirements have been revised that allow access to the Customs and Border Protection controlled areas in the South Satellite Building. Refer to Sectin 01 14 1.3 - Airport Personnel Indentification/Access Control and Security. Time limit for substantial completion of the work is 500 calendar days. The Port reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in its best interest and pursuant to the terms of the General Conditions. Contract time extends from Award of the contract through Contract Completion as defined, in the General Conditions. Refer to the document in Vendor Connect electronically for Directions to the Westside Field. Office. Using Google Maps or Map Quest "will" send you to the wrong location. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) wll "not" be required since the Site Tour will consist of reviewing project locations with the Project Managers and Designers using a 36O degree video presentation in the Prebid Meeting Room. A portion of this Contract requires work to be performed within an area ofthe Airport controlled for security reasons. All Contractor personnel working in restricted areas (including AOA, Secured, SIDA and Sterile areas) on this project shall have Port of Seattle airport-issued identification / access badges in accordance with Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 1540/ 1542 and the Airport Security Plan. Bidders should consider the impact of acquiring badges when preparing their bids.
