Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Buckeye, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,677-square-foot, one-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The City of Buckeye is seeking a qualified construction manager/general contractor to provide design phase assistance and project construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the construction of a new 911 Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The new facility is located on an existing site West of Shepard's Trail Road & South of East Ash Ave. (Adjacent to the Police Property & Evidence Facility). The estimated construction cost is $6,800,000. CMAR contract shall include full "Turn-Key" Public Safety Communications and Emergency Operations Center (911 Center) described in Section 2, Scope of Work. It is anticipated that Construction will start January 2023 and will conclude March 2024 (14 months). The site is located on a portion of a 46 +/- acres parcel, West of Shepard's Trail Road & South of East Ash Ave. (Adjacent to the Police Property & Evidence Facility). The 911 Emergency Operations Center is a 11,677 SF one story facility which will be used as the communication hub for the City. It will include a high level of security for restricted access and protection of the building's occupants. The project is an essential services building with back up power and redundancy on all critical systems. The project will include the extension of Shepard's Trail, and associated site work. The components of the 911 Emergency Operations Center include: o 911 Emergency Operations Center will be constructed on a portion of the 46-acre Parcel of land owned by the City. o 911 Emergency Operations Center will be a 1- story, 11,677 square foot facility with resources for twelve communication dispatch locations, an open office location, staff training and conference room as well as associated management office space and mechanical rooms. o A FM-200 fire protection systems, fire alarm, as well as fire sprinkler system compliant with NFPA and OSHA standards will be installed.
