Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Laramie, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 19, 2022, this project is under construction. General contractor information has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The purpose of this project will be to complete a design of a signalized intersection at 3rd Street and the future Bill Nye Avenue. In addition to the signal, the design will also include upgrading ADA ramps, crosswalks, and possibly repaving the intersection as concrete. Since 3rd Street is classified as a state highway (US 287), the final design will need to meet WyDOT standards, not City standards. The City will be managing the project, however WyDOT will act as a major reviewing body. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
