Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Port St Lucie, Florida. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

**Per the owner, this project is still canceled and as of 4/21/2021 there is no current information on a possible rebid.** As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information The project more specifically includes the following: 1. Pretreatment Screening and Grit Removal Additions. Work includes provision and installation of a new influent screen and a new grit removal system including a grit removal unit, grit pumps, and all associated piping and appurtenances. Connecting the existing grit removal unit to the new system is also included. A new control panel and all associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 2. Anoxic/Aeration Process Basin Additions. Work includes the provision and installation of three (3) additional biological treatment trains, including anoxic/aeration basins and associated equipment such as mixers, mechanical surface aerators, and internal recycle pumps. New control panels, DO instruments and all associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 3. Clarification Process Additions. Work includes the construction of a new 80-foot diameter clarifier and provision and installation of all associated equipment and piping. A new control panel and all associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 4. RAS/WAS Pump Station Additions. Work includes the provision and installation of one (1) new RAS pump and one (1) new WAS pump and all associated piping to the existing pumping systems. The pumps will be installed on existing rail systems. All associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 5. Filter Dosing Pump Station Addition. Work includes the provision and installation of one (1) new filter dosing pump and all associated piping to the existing pumping system. All associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 6. Reclaimed Water Pump Station Additions. Work includes the provision and installation of one (1) new reclaimed water pump and all associated piping to the existing pumping system. All associated electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 7. Chlorine Feed System Additions. Work includes the provision and installation of a new chlorine storage and feed system utilizing ton chlorine gas containers, vacuum injection into a carrier water system, all associated piping including chlorine solution piping to the injection points, and new solution injectors. A new chlorine storage and feed building, and all associated HVAC, plumbing, and electrical/instrumentation/SCADA work is also included. 8. Electrical System Additions/Modifications. Work includes providing and installing all equipment associated with updating the electrical system to meet EPA Class I Reliability to avoid common mode failures, upgrades to equipment and systems to meet requirements of NFPA 820, and all electrical work associated with the process improvements. No upgrades to the existing standby generators or standby capacity are included. Installing empty conduits to the proposed IW-2 location is also included. Two (2) new electrical buildings to house the new major electrical system components are also included. 9. Instrumentation and Control System Additions/Modifications. Work includes upgrading the existing PLCs with new PLCs in their current locations and upgrading the SCADA servers with new units including OS and HMI software upgrades. All instrumentation/SCADA work associated with the process improvements is also included. Note: The Contractor shall be responsible for erosion controls and the vertical and horizontal location of all utilities for this project. The cost for erosion controls and utility location work shall be included in bid item for Phase II Construction. All items not specifically identified in the bid reply sheet are considered to be incidental to other pay items in the contract. Also, any item not included in the attached specifications shall be covered under the City of Port Saint Lucie Utility Systems Department Utility Standards Manual. Bid Bond: 5% The City of Port St. Lucie reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any and all informalities or irregularities, to negotiate with any qualified Proposers, and to accept or reject all or any part of any proposal as it may deem to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City. The last date for questions has been changed to January 3, 2020
