Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bradford, Ontario. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upgrades to the Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant Tertiary Treatment System. The scope of work includes post-secondary treatment system upgrades, using a membrane system in combination with chemical processes to remove harmful microbiological contaminants from wastewater. The goal is to allow the owner to grow to its 2031 population. This project is phase two of the Bradford Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrades project. TIMELINE: The owner is finalizing the pilot study for membrane selection and future upgrades. Upon completion the study has been submitted to the Ontario Ministry of the Environment for approval. Approval to proceed to tender is expected late 2024. The civil engineer will complete the detailed design through the approvals process. Tender and construction are expected early 2025, pending approvals and capital funding allocation. *A contact at the engineer is not available for publication.
