Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in White Rock, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.

As of Dec 3 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Considering the current COVID-19 (corona virus) outbreak, until further notice, the following procedure is in effect: Bids may also be submitted electronically by email in pdf format. All other requirements stated in the Solicitation Document remain in effect. Subject line of the email must contain the following information: RESPONSE - IFB21-05: Overlook Park Non-Potable Water Booster Station Project The project will replace an existing non-potable booster station located at the Overlook Park which provides irrigation to all the ballfields and open space in the park. The existing booster station consists of two (2) outdoor vertical turbine pumps, an existing block building which houses the controls and a 320,000 gallon lined reservoir which is filled with treated effluent water from the adjacent wastewater treatment plant. Demolition and site preparation will include removal and disposal of existing debris, out of service park equipment and miscellaneous materials currently stored in the project area. An existing 8' x 20' shipping container will be relocated onsite to accommodate the new building. A portion of the existing chain link fence will be removed and replaced with a new fence relocated around the existing facilities. After the new booster station is placed in service the existing pumping facilities will be removed and disposed. Existing pumps, associated piping, conduit, electric equipment located outdoors will be removed and disposed of. Miscellaneous site work will include relocation of a perimeter fence, installation of a new five inch (5") thick paving with asphalt milling materials and steel bollards protecting the existing transformer. Milled asphalt material will be transported by contractor from DP Road in Los Alamos, ten (10) miles away. A new four inch (4") ductile iron waste line will be constructed on the south side of the existing pond to assist in is cleaning of the pond.
