Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Montebello, California. Working plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
As of February 15, 2022, this project is in the final engineering and design phase. Construction is scheduled to begin late winter 2022 and be completed and opened to traffic by summer 2025. A construction manager has been selected. Consultants are advised that SGVCOG has established a SBE goal of 14% for this project A. Mobilization Description: 1. This work consists of preparatory work and operations, including those necessary for movement of personnel, equipment, supplies and incidentals to the project site; the establishment of offices, buildings and other facilities necessary for work on the project; the cost of bonds and any required insurance; and other preconstruction expenses necessary for start of the Work, excluding the cost of construction materials. B. Equipment Rental Description: 1. This work consists of providing equipment for rent to the Railroad during the project as requested by Railroad Engineer.
