Demolition, site work and new construction of a restaurant in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a restaurant; for the construction of a 35,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 225-seat restaurant; and for site work for a restaurant.

The project is aimed at providing connectivity of the Miskanaw Golf Club clubhouse to the Suncor Community Leisure Centre to enhance guest experience and create operational efficiencies is existing spaces. Scope of work will include a new 2-storey replacement building, approx. 25,000 - 35,000 sq ft in size and which will be constructed with connectivity to the east side of the Suncor Community Leisure Centre to create operations efficiencies and leverage access to additional services. The building is to house a restaurant with a seating capacity of approx. 150 in the restaurant and 75 in the lounge; two or three meeting rooms; a commercial kitchen; enhanced curling and Terry Conroy Mini-ice viewing area; games room/lounge area; pro shop; administrative offices and boardroom; men's and ladies locker room; backshop; snack shack; golf cart storage and wash bay; club repair/storage space; member club storage space; washroom facilities and potentially a multi-purpose activity studio/room. Other work includes parking, car path and staging areas and landscaping. TIMELINE: A Request for proposals from architectural consultants for design services closed at the owner in early 2020.
