Durham College is seeking Proposals Design/Build for renovations to room A126 located in our Gordon Willey Building at the North Oshawa Campus (2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa, Ontario, L1G 0C5). Proponents must complete the Deliverables listed below within the area being renovated with the doors closed as to not impede into the corridor: - Widen corridor door to building code and install automatic door opener.
- Widen opening in partition wall.
- Ensure the concrete floor can support the room's weight.
- Provide cost effective waterproof flooring options including installation.
- Ensure the concrete floor is leveled to +/-0.05''.
-Remove the suspended ceiling in room A126A.
- Relocate the ventilation intake currently located above where the bunker will be installed.
- Relocate the ventilation output currently located above where the bunker will be installed.
- Relocate the electrical conduit and electrical plug where the bunker will be installed.
-Install the electrical breaker box for the X-ray system.Enhance A-Wing 2nd floor electrical panel.
- Connect the lightning inside the bunker to existing ON/OFF switch.
- Plaster and paint (Bunker interior - white paint and bunker exterior - black paint).
- Data and electrical for 2 workstations in A126; the selected Proponent will engage Bell Canada to have the data drops added to the 2 workstations.
- Paint interior space (Black).
- Remove the sink with drawers, soap dispenser, and towel dispenser - these can be reutilized in A106/108.
- Remove the dyes storage table/sink (right back wall); Durham wants to keep the hood in place.
- Adjusting the current drain which is currently at 20" in height to the future tank bottom (to be confirmed once the drawings are signed/finalized).
- Connect and supply the hot water.
- To confirm water lines, valves and gauge are in good operating condition to adequately control the water temperature.
- Inspect and clean the floor to ensure meeting internal requirements and/or needs.
- Light fixtures to be removed and replaced.
- Supply container where to dispose crating, palette, left over pieces, garbage.
