The Project Includes Improvements to the Interior Lining of the Existing 36-inch Cement Lined Steel Water Pipeline in the Effluent Pipe Chemical Injection Chamber; Demolition of Sample Return Pumps, Concrete Equipment Pads, Piping, Conduit, and Wiring; Replacement of Victaulic Coupling Gaskets and Hardware; Demolition and Replacement of the Dehumidifier and Unit Heater in the Effluent Pipe Chemical Injection Chamber; and Temporary Bypass Piping and Dewatering to Allow Removal of the Pipeline From Service. No Bidder May Withdraw Its Bid Within 90 Calendar Days After the Date Set for the Receipt Thereof. In the Event That the South Central Connecticut Regional Water Authority Requires More Than 90 Calendar Days After the Actual Date of the Receipt of Bids and the Selected, Qualified Bidder Does Not Grant an Extension of Time, the Authority Reserves the Right to Award the Contract to Another Qualified Bidder Who Does Grant an Extension of Time to Award.
