This Project consists of expanding the existing Auger Water Treatment Plant to a capacity of 12 MGD and includes the addition of plate settlers in the existing sedimentation basins, addition of two lowpressure membrane units, addition of one strainer, and addition of one vertical turbine pump and associated valves and piping at the existing membrane feed pump station. The project is located in the City of Midlothian, Texas. Bidders must submit a cashier's check, certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner as outlined in the specifications and Instructions to Bidders. The security must be payable to Owner in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid submitted. Contractor must execute the Contract, bonds and certificates of insurance on the forms provided in the Contract Documents.
