**As of May 18, 2020, the construction will begin in the next 2 weeks.** Q & A deadline: Dec 27, 2019 10:00:00 AM EST. The Intent of this Invitation to Bid is for the City of Bridgeport to obtain total cost information for Installation of Oil & Water Separator and new drain pipes to collect and treat vehicle wash area water before discharging into the existing sanitary sewer located at the City's Public Works Facility located at 990 Housatonic Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06606. This lump sum shall be all material, supplies, labor, equipment, gas and/or diesel, permits, services specified or implied, necessary to perform this project per attached technical specifications, plans, details and scope of work is to be supplied by the Contractor. This contract is subject to utilization goals and requirements for participation of certified Minority Business Enterprises (MBE). The utilization requirement for certified African-American Owned Business Enterprises is 6% of the total contract sum. The overall utilization goal for Minority- Owned Business Enterprises is 15% and for Women-Owned Business Enterprises is 15%.
