Bidders are informed that the Project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675, RSMo, which requires all contractors or subcontractors doing work on the Project to provide, and require its on-site employees to complete, a ten (10) hour course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration ("OSHA") or a similar program approved by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program. All employees who have not previously completed the program must complete the program within sixty (60) days before the date work on the Project commences. On-site employees found on the worksite without documentation of the required training shall have twenty (20) days to produce such documentation before being subject to removal from the Project. A certified or cashier's check or bid bond executed by Bidder and approved Surety Company, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each proposal. Project Location: Campus of Southeast Missouri State University, One University Plaza, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 The work includes General Plumbing Work. The types of projects are basically plumbing work which includes Installation, Testing and Preventative Maintenance of storm sewer, sanitary sewer and water lines up to and including any size pipe on campus as follows, but not limited to: i. Install, repair and service of storm water sewer lines ii. Install, repair and service of sanitary sewer lines (including root/blockage removal for small and large piping) iii. Install, repair and service of domestic water lines (hot and cold) iv. Video inspection and recording of piping v. Vehicle or vehicles with the ability to high pressure jet wash, root cutting, and vacuum debris from sewer lines and man holes vi. Install, repair and service of plumbing fixtures (i.e. sinks, stools, urinals, dishwashers, garbage disposals etc.) vii. Install, repair and service to oil and grease interceptors
