Site work for a water / sewer project in Red River, New Mexico. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Plan to include Environmental Studies, design and construct the Tenderfoot and High Cost Trail waterline. Replacement to include, replacing leaking lines to reduce the amount of water lost. The Town's system is in need of replacement on the west end of town area due to soil deterioration of water lines and undersized lines. There is also a need to complete a loop to better service our customers for entire community. The line will be tied into a 8" waterline at the entrance to Ore Fino Trail. The replacement line will be completed before 340 feet of new line is installed to make a loop system. The town will follow it's procurement code. An RFP will be advertised in the newspaper. As of January 25, 2022, this project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP . Funding for this project is allotted in the city's capital improvement plan for construction Fy 2023. A firm timeline has not been established; however, construction is scheduled for Fiscal Year 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
