The Rochester Housing Authority, Rochester, New York, will receive sealed bids for the Bronson Court Townhouse Alterations Proiect {RE-BID), (1 prime) General Contractor. Bids will not be accepted unless the documents have been obtained under the name of the bidding party and all other bid requirements, as identified here, are met. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Rochester Housing Authority or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety company listed on US Treasury Circular 570, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid in excess of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000). For all construction contracts exceeding $150,000, the successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond & a Payment Bond each for 100% of the contract price (Surety company must be listed on the US Treasury Circular 570 as a certified company), or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit covering 25% of the work, or a 20% cash escrow of the contract price. The Rochester Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
