Site work and paving for a civil project in Taos Ski Valley, New Mexico. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
To complete project certifications, acquire necessary ROW, complete final engineering and construct the recommended improvements for the first critical 1.1 mile of roadway to proper engineering design standards. Drainage improvements, erosion control, safety enhancements, and environmental preservation are included as part of the project. Preliminary engineering funding has been obtained and is expected to be completed by the end of FY '20. An RFP will be issued to acquire necessary services. Project is currently in the FY 2023-2027 CIP. As of June 13, 2024, per owner, this project has not begun or awarded, and the final design is not complete. A design team has been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
