The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth in the Project Manual. The principal items of work to be performed under the contract are: 1) removal and milling of existing pavement; 2) placement of full-depth and overlay pavement; 3) crack filler/sealer; 4) installation of Pertomat Fabric (or approved equal) and Petrotac Fabric (or approved equal); 5) installation of pavement markings; 6) replace damaged vertical concrete curb; 7) replace existing concrete curb ramps; and 8) work of similar nature. Questions must be submitted on or before 1/30/2020 5:00 PM Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier's check, bank treasurer's check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Warwick School District, Lancaster County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 - Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications. Warwick School District hereby reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, or informalities, in bids received, to reject any and/or all bids submitted and to accept any bid which it may deem to be in the best interests of the Borough.
