Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Moundville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work consists of removing five wood and masonry block commercial structures and any necessary filling with clean soil. Modifications to the contract documents may be made at any time prior to the receipt of bids and all registered holders of contract documents will be furnished copies of any addenda which may be issued. All bids must be submitted on the proposal form furnished, accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than 10% of the total amount bid. A 100% performance bond will be required from the accepted bidder. The City of Moundville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to advertise for new bids, to waive technicalities, to award any bid deemed most advantageous to the City, to retain the bid guarantees for 30 days after the bid opening, and to make such investigations as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work. The City of Moundville is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
