The Project includes the rehabilitation of existing sanitary sewer manholes, rehabilitation of existing sewer infrastructure using slip lining construction methods, the installation of a low pressure sewer system including individual grinder pump stations, related site work, piping, and electrical/controls for grinder pumps. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. Select the pertinent project as listed on the projects list. The bidder shall receive a notification email once the bidder has been registered with the site. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. The work in this Section consists of providing reconstruction of existing service lateral and mainline gravity sewer lines, normally without excavation, by forming a new pipe within an existing deteriorated pipe, which has generally maintained its original shape. This shall be accomplished by the installation of a resin impregnated flexible fiberglass mat, by means of pushing or pulling into the existing service lateral or sewer main utilizing a pressure apparatus positioned through a cleanout, basement drain, manhole or similar access point. The existing sewer shall remain active without by-pass pumping/re-routing, or plugging. Curing shall be accomplished by means of ambient temperature, which will cure the resin-impregnated fiberglass mat into a hard, impermeable cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). The CIPP shall extend over the selected area of the service later or main as a continuous, tight-fitting, corrosion resistant and watertight CIPP pipe within a pipe.
