Project Black Duck Drive and Brant Drive The work consists of the removal, disposal and reconstruction of Black Duck Drive and Brant Drive. Work shall include excavation, 1250 SY milling, grading, 2800 SY aggregate base course, 220 tons of HMA base course and 185 tons of HMA surface course, signs, pavement striping, etc., is proposed. Work shall include all incidental work necessary to complete the project as specified.Funding for this project is being provided by a Grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Therefore, all State prevailing wage regulations will apply. Bids may be submitted by mail or in person at any time prior to the time for receiving and opening the same at the Township Municipal Building. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. The Township of Eagleswood reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any and all bids. A Bid Bond drawn to the order of the Township of Eagleswood in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid must be submitted with the proposal as bid security, but not more than $20,000.00. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for the amount of the total bid within ten (10) days from the date of written acceptance of his proposal. Certificates of Insurance will also be required.The Township of Eagleswood hereby reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof. The Township further reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any or all bids submitted, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsible bidder based on the lowest Total Bid Amount and to make such awards or take such action as may be in the best interest of the Township.
