This project has been cancelled. Construction of the Alvarado Trunk Sewer Phase IV consists of installing approximately 25,004 ft. of new sewer pipe, abandonment of existing trunk sewer and manholes, groundwater dewatering, and discharge, bypass pumping, laterals reconnections, traffic control, revegetation areas, signal loop replacement and curb ramp installation. Construction of Alvarado TS Water Main Relocations consists of the replacement of approximately 7,288 ft. of existing 6", 8",12" and 16" AC water mains and all appurtenances in accordance with the specification and drawings. Per the plans: Construction of Alvarado Trunk Sewer Phase IV consists of, installing approximately 25,004 new linear feet (LF) of sewer pipe as follows: 6810 of open cut 30-inch, 4748 LF of open cut 36-inch, 2870 LF of open cut 42-inch, 7562 LF of tunneling/trenchless construction, 8832 LF of abandonment of existing sewer 12" main and replacement of junction structure existing manhole no. 271 at the intersection of Twain Avenue and Fairmount Avenue. The work also includes the abandonment of existing trunk sewer manholes, groundwater dewatering and discharge, bypass pumping, laterals reconnections, jack-and-bore work areas, (i.e. jacking/receiving pit areas), temporary access roads, staging areas, traffic control, revegetation areas, repaving, signal loop replacements , and curb ramp installation. Construction of the Alvarado TS Water Main Relocations consists of the replacement of approximately 7,415.19 linear feet of existing 6", 8",12" and 16" AC water mains and all appurtenances in accordance with the specification and drawings.
