Construction of Sewer & AC Water Group 765 consists of the installation of approximately 5,382.58 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch sewer mains to replace-in- place existing 8-inch and 10-inch sewer mains, and installation of approximately 6,210.82 linear feet of 8-inch water main to replace-in-place existing 6-inch and 8-inch AC water mains. Related work includes potholing, traffic control, street resurfacing, and installation of sewer manholes, sewer laterals, water services, water fittings and couplings, fire hydrants, curb ramps, and construction best management practices (BMPS). This is the City of San Diego's (City) solicitation process to acquire Construction services for Sewer and AC Water Group 765. License Requirements : A or C-34 Liquidated Damages : $1000 per day The City has incorporated mandatory SLBE-ELBE subcontractor participation percentages to enhance competition and maximize subcontracting opportunities. For the purpose of achieving the mandatory subcontractor participation percentages, a recommended breakdown of the SLBE and ELBE subcontractor participation percentages based upon certified SLBE and ELBE firms has also been provided to achieve the mandatory subcontractor participation percentages. 1.
