Site work and paving for a playground / park / athletic field in Rockford, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Rockford Park District invites qualified contractors to bid on the renovation of the existing boat ramp and pathways on the north side of the Riverview Icehouse. Work includes hardscape demolition and vegetation removals, concrete flatwork, pre-cast concrete block wall construction, and turf establishment. The Rockford Park District honors prevailing wages. If applicable, the awarded Contractor, including subcontractors, is required to comply with all provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the payment of wages and fringe benefits as required by law, and the submission of certified payroll transcripts. Note: The removal of trees that are diseased or irreparably damaged trees or trees that constitutes a hazard and does not fall under the purview of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Failure to include the bid offer form properly completed and signed will result in the submission being rejected.
