For County Road 17 Widening CR 17 WIDENING (TAP CO 60-082, 20620) The work consists of widening CR 17 in the Southern Loveland/Northern Berthoud area from the Grand Market Ave Roundabout to CR 16, along with replacement of a bridge with a concrete box culvert, and installation of a storm sewer collection system. A portion of the storm sewer collection system will be required to be bored across US Hwy 287. Approximately 12,000 square yards of asphalt milling, 8,200 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 6,700 cubic yards of import borrow, 13,300 tons of aggregate base course, 18,600 tons of hot mix asphalt, 68 cubic yards of concrete (Class D), 1,684 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe, 400 linear feet of bored steel pipe, 148 linear feet of 16' x 8' precast concrete box culvert, 425 linear feet of guardrail (Type 3), 3,425 linear feet of fencing, and construction traffic control are included in the work No bid is contingent on the purchase of all items listed. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Prices and terms shall remain firm for at least 30 days after the date of bid opening for all bidders and for at least 30 days after the award for the Award Vendor. This is a federally-assisted construction project. This project is subject to all applicable required contract provisions for federal-aid construction contracts, including the provisions set forth in the following documents: FHWA 1273 Required Contract Provisions; Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts Under Federal Awards; Appendix A to Larimer County Title VI Plan; and Highway Davis Bacon Wage Determination CO20200014, 1/03/2020. The aforementioned documents are included as attachments to the Sample Contract except for the Highway Davis Bacon Wage Determination, which is included in the Special Provisions. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project has been established at 9%. All bidders must be on the Colorado Department of Transportation's prequalified list and experienced in the use of the Colorado Department of Transportation's Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.
