Renovation of a municipal facility in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of February 23, 2021, this project has been awarded to oram Air Condition Co., Inc but award amount not available. The work consists principally of providing bonds, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for replacement of 2 Chillers, Pumps, Piping, Boiler, VAV Boxes, new DDC Controls and air handlers A Guarantee will be required with each bid as follows: At least five (5%) percent of the amount bid, but in no event more than Ten Thousand ($10,000) Dollars, shall be furnished in the form of a certified check or bid bond payable to the Alabama State Port Authority. Performance and Payment bonds will be required at the signing of the contract in an amount not less than One Hundred (100%) percent of the contract price. The right is reserved, as the interest of the Alabama State Port Authority may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bids received. The work consists principally of providing bonds, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary for replacement of 2 Chillers, Pumps, Piping, Boiler, VAV Boxes, new DDC Controls and air handlers as indicated in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. The Contractor will be required to complete the work under the Contract within 180 calendar days of the effective date of Notice to Proceed.
